Our Story

Earth & Craft Apothecary was founded as a way to reconnect and synchronize our modern lives to the natural forces for which we are not separate, but a part of and one with.

The old are calling, and there is a longing that can no longer be ignored. Many, including us, are feeling this way. Reawakening to the plants feels a bit as if a long forgotten piece of our soul is finally reawakening. Deeply acknowledging the sacrality and generous abundance of life around us allows us to reawaken the sacred ancestral connection to the fertility of the land, and to the healing nature of the plants with which we are entangled in this life. Each of us on this path have our own unique energetic webs detailing how our consciousness evolved, what traumas in life we learned to accept and utilize as learning experiences.

It was during one of our respective expansion periods that we began to observe a crucial lack of access. There was an obvious lack of accessibility to organic whole-plant based medicines, as well as a lack of resources and education on holistic living that address the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects of each interconnected being. Particularly so in our local community on the north west coast of Puerto Rico, so we began to honor the messages that we were receiving from the universe and plant spirits — to use their medicines and offer them to our community while sharing the ancient wisdom they provide. And so, Earth & Craft Apothecary was born.

Shortly after beginning the lifelong venture that is Earth and Craft, we plunged head first into growing and expanding the limits of what Earth and Craft can be for our community.

We stand strongly in our belief that it is of the utmost importance and urgency to reclaim our collective sacred ancestral knowledge — how to be sovereign, and heal ourselves holistically using plants and herbs as food and medicine. We understand the importance of distributing this knowledge in order to empower you to build a solid foundation for the preservation of health and wellness. This is one of our key missions: to make this collective knowledge accessible — because it belongs to all of us.

The products you find for sale here are formulated based upon research and scientific evidence to support their traditional folk uses. Veronica is a baccalaureate prepared Registered Nurse and Emergency Medical Technician, whose practice ranges from Neuro/Truama Surgical ICU to Home Health. Amy is a senior doctoral student, completing her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine, and is a Certified Nutritionist, Herbalist, Doula, and Educator. Our promise is to only produce using the highest quality organic, locally harvested, or responsibly and ethically wildcrafted ingredients. Our offerings are handcrafted, using traditional slow methods, and are created in tune with the cycles of the moon. We consciously lean into the cycles of nature, to allow them to guide us toward an energetic synergy with the earth — and so, many of our offerings are only available seasonally.
